The Department of Industrial Design at Alanya University aims to cultivate the designers of the future by integrating design, technology, and a human-centered thinking approach. In our department, students are introduced to the processes of analyzing user needs, developing creative concepts, solving design problems, and transforming these ideas into functional, aesthetic, and manufacturable products.
Our educational framework enables students to develop both their creative and technical competencies through design studios, theoretical courses, and applied studies. An interdisciplinary approach is adopted, bringing together diverse fields such as design research, user experience, material and manufacturing technologies, digital design, and prototyping.
As the Alanya University Department of Industrial Design, we aim to educate our students as designers who not only respond to contemporary needs but also anticipate future challenges, while remaining acutely aware of their social, cultural, and environmental responsibilities.
Accordingly, our department provides a creative and innovative educational environment for students who are curious, inquisitive, productive, and eager to contribute to the world through design.
