Industrial Design is a dynamic and interdisciplinary field that brings together human needs with creativity, technology, and manufacturing capabilities to shape the products, systems, and experiences of the future. Within the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Alanya University, we aim to educate designers who can integrate design thinking with engineering and technology; who are research-oriented, inquisitive, creative thinkers, and capable of transforming their ideas into innovative, feasible, and sustainable solutions. At the core of our educational approach are human-centered design, critical thinking, digital technologies, knowledge of manufacturing processes, environmental and social responsibility, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
We are committed to continuously developing our department as a productive educational environment where academic knowledge and practice, creativity and technology, and the university and industry come together. Our aim is to educate qualified designers who can not only respond to the needs of today but also anticipate the challenges and opportunities of the future; who draw inspiration from local values while following global developments, and who contribute to society, the environment, and the culture of production through design.
